Joseph Eve Allen papers
Dr. Joseph Eve Allen was the grandson of Dr. Joseph Adams Eve, a founding faculty member of the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Allen graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1877. He served as dean of the school from 1906-1910.

Dr. John D. Lane, Jr. received his medical degree from MCG in 1927. His career as a medical officer in the USPHS began in 1929; he retired in 1960. This collection consists of items on display in the HCA room and Dr. Lane's personal papers.

Medical Association of Georgia and Medical Society of Georgia records
This small collection contains documents related to the Medical Association of Georgia and the Medical Society of Georgia. The society originated in Savannah, GA in the 19th century. In 1966 the society was dissolved and became part of the Sixth District Medical Society. These records were transferred to HCA in 2006 from the State of Georgia Archives.
